Honda Expands Premium Motorcycle Range in India with E-Clutch Technology

Honda has strengthened its premium motorcycle lineup in India with the launch of two exciting new models: the CB750 Hornet E-Clutch and the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch. Alongside these additions, the brand has also updated the Gold Wing with a new colour option, while the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP continues to anchor Honda’s superbike portfolio.

The biggest talking point is Honda’s E-Clutch technology. Designed to reduce rider effort, E-Clutch allows gear changes without the need to operate the clutch lever, making riding easier in city traffic and smoother on longer journeys. At the same time, it preserves the involvement of a traditional manual gearbox, which should appeal to enthusiasts who want convenience without losing control.

The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch brings a sporty naked-bike character to the premium segment, while the XL750 Transalp E-Clutch is aimed at riders looking for a versatile adventure-tourer. Both motorcycles share Honda’s 755cc parallel-twin engine platform and come with premium features such as a 5-inch TFT display, Honda RoadSync connectivity, riding modes, and strong suspension setups.

For touring buyers, the Gold Wing remains Honda’s luxury flagship in India. The model now gets a fresh Gun Metal Black Metallic colour while keeping its large 1833cc six-cylinder engine, DCT transmission, and high-end comfort features. Meanwhile, the Fireblade SP continues to represent Honda’s performance image in the superbike category.

This rollout shows that Honda is not just expanding its premium range, but also using new technology to make its motorcycles more attractive to modern Indian riders.
