Bentley Embraces Annual Product Drops With New Bespoke Series

The first release is a set of 100 Continental GT S Coupes and GT S Convertibles that feature custom paint jobs, black wheels, and unique interiors

Bentley is launching a collection of special editions, which will be released annually. It’s known as the Bespoke Series by Mulliner and the first batch includes 100 units based on the Continental GT S and GT S Convertible.

Billed as “highly curated limited-edition cars,” the Bespoke Series is embracing a seasonal release schedule to drum up sales and mimic a “luxury fashion house.” While the latter sounds like marketing hyperbole, the brand said designers will analyze emerging cultural trends as well as forecast color preferences.

Despite being known for personalization, the first Bespoke Series will be offered in six colors. These are brand-new hues created exclusively for the special editions and they’re joined by a central stripe painted in Beluga and Pearl effect.

The cars also have gloss black mirrors and the Blackline specification, which includes a black grille and matching air intakes. They’re joined by black 22-inch wheels that have self-leveling “B” emblems. Last but not least, customers will be greeted by animated welcome light projections when they open the doors.

Stepping inside reveals a meticulously crafted cabin featuring Comfort Seats and a bespoke perforation pattern across the seat backrests, doors, and rear quarters. Dark-tinted chrome accents, “By Mulliner” seat tags, and the Bentley Rotating Display add a touch of exclusivity, while ambient lighting, special sill plates, and a body-color-painted fascia complete the upscale interior.

The interior also has Mulliner upholstery with a triple color split, which combines a bespoke accent color with a Jet Black main hide and a Beluga secondary hide.

Each special edition comes with a bespoke fitted car cover and a High Performance Hybrid powertrain. The latter consists of a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, a 25.9 kWh battery pack, and an electric motor.

Together, the powertrain delivers an impressive 671 hp (500 kW / 680 PS) and 686 lb-ft (930 Nm) of torque. Those figures enable the vehicles to sprint from 0–60 mph (0–96 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds, reach a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h), and travel up to 50 miles (80 km) on electric power alone.
